In implementing the Transport Master Plan of Lagos metropolis, the planning, engineering designs and proposed construction management of Ketu Depot on Ojota-Ikorodu bus corridor was carried out in 2008 / 2009 by Precision Technologies Consultants Limited (PTCL) for Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) through Lagos Urban Transport Programme (LUTP) funded by World Bank.
LAMATA commissioned Precision Technologies Consultants Limited (PTCL) Lagos, Nigeria in a World Bank-financed consultancy service contract to carry out the “Planning, Detailed Engineering Design & Construction Supervision / Management of the High Capacity Bus Depot / Garage at Ketu on Ojota-Ikorodu Corridor” in 2008. The more-than-half hectare Ketu depot is to serve as a complimentary accommodation of high capacity buses to nearby Ojota loops 1 & 2 Mega Depot previously engineered by PTCL. It was designed based on the available land size to accommodate about 30no high capacity buses and other numerous components such as combined operation building / auto workshop, security houses, parking pavement, public convenience, water headwork, treatment building, plant house, wash bay, power substation and masonry perimeter fence.
